Destined for Adventure
Rory and Angela met for drinks on a balmy August night in Portland in 2015. After deciding to climb to the top of Katahdin for their fourth date, they very quickly became inseparable. Over the years they’ve been fortunate to have had many opportunities to travel internationally and explore great American cities and parks across the country. They delight in traversing the mountains, lakes and streams in their home state of Maine, and Rory proposed to Angela atop that same great mountain 5 years later, and they began a fun new chapter in their relationship.
In fall of 2022 they moved to Downeast Maine for Rory to attend University of Maine at Orono. He is pursuing his bachelors degree in wildlife ecology with a concentration in fisheries sciences, and will be graduating in Spring of 2024, after which he will be looking for a masters research program. Angela is doing administrative work for her mother’s architecture firm and having fun being close to her childhood home and Acadia National Park.
